Mission Statement of the Proctor’s Office

The Office of the Proctor upholds a safe, secure, and disciplined academic environment that supports students’ learning and personal development. It ensures the enforcement of university rules and regulations and addresses issues related to student conduct and campus safety.

The Proctor’s role is to ensure the enforcement of the rules and regulations of the university.

 

Key Responsibilities

Maintain overall discipline within the university premises.

Investigate incidents of misconduct, ragging, harassment, or breach of discipline.

Control unauthorized access to the university premises.

Assist in solving non-academic disputes among the students with other students, faculty or admin.

To take necessary steps to ensure the personal safety of students, teachers or employees of the university, and

To maintain and safeguard the assets of the university;
